Blake by way of Brazil

Thanks to five video based on William Blake's poem, "The Tyger," which many have had to memorize in their youth. This video by artist Guilherme Marcondes sets the poem in a definitively contemporary urban space, making it a meditation scrawled with graffiti and comic book references, on urbanity, emerging resistances, and, perhaps, some image of an implicit "human nature."
